I have set the Liferay Sync but it says "Server URL is malformed"
Can anybody help?

With the amount of information that you give, my best guess is that the server URL that you entered might be malformed...
Seriously: It really would help to know what you entered as server URL or other steps that you did before you get this message.

Thanks for you reply.
The liferay version is CE 6.1.0 GA2, I have just installed the latest version of liferay sync 1.2.2 GA3 on 32bits Windows
In the properties when I typed in my Liferay URL and test connections the error occurs. URL is : https://intranet.(mydomain).com
I have tried to specified the port number as 80, https://intranet.(mydomain).com:80 , then I get the same issue as the followings thread

Thanks!

Well, https and port 80 will definitely not work together. If anything it would be port 443, which is the default.
With https, there are a lot more possibilities for failure - e.g. intranet.yourdomain.com might be signed by a certificate authority that is trusted in your own network's browsers, but not by Java (which is what sync is running on). If you inspect the certificate that this site presents to you, can you check who issued the certificate? The thread you link points to trust issues - and https is about encryption as much as it is about trust that the server you're talking to is indeed the server that it claims to be. There'd be no use in setting up encrypted communication with a random attacker, imposing as your own server, thus the trust relationship requirement.
So: In your browser, inspect the certificate you get from the host and let us know if it's issued internally, e.g. by your own company, or by a public certification authority - there are a few hundred that are typically installed as trustworthy in your browsers (sic), common examples would be GoDaddy, Verisign, Digicert (just what comes to my mind, this implies no recommendation for any of them)

Hi, it works now.
I just need to change the login credential by liferay screen name and password (I am using AD credential for login before)
Thanks!

Nice try, Olaf, but you just weren't given the right details
Sometimes it's enough to keep people busy in order to solve the problems. Seems to be the case here. Problem solved, everybody happy, Olaf puzzled. 8D
Thanks for your help Olaf!
It is just the error message misleading my way of investigation.
