[SOLVED] Confusion about "Show Parent Sites in the Breadcrumb"

Hi all,

I'm trying to setup a site with some child sites and I need to show parent site in breadcrumbs. The top site have to be the landing page.

The only documentation I found was in the user guide at the "Parent site paragraph:

So, with the default content, I have:

• liferay (site replies at localhost:8080)
• Liferay Inc. (organization replies to localhost:8080/web/liferay)

I created three organizations (org1, org2, org3) as child organizations of the Liferay Inc. organization.
Every organization have a site with the same name.

Now, in the breadcrumbs of org* appear a link to Liferay Inc. (replies to localhost:8080/web/liferay)
But the default landing page is still liferay (site replies at localhost:8080)

In liferay (site replies at localhost:8080) the "Sites directory" portlet says that there are no child sites.

How can I have a coherent navigation for the portal (landing page showing child sites; child sites linked to landing page) ?

Reply to myself:

Simply go to control panel --> configuration --> portal settings

Set the field General --> navigation --> home url to /web/liferay/extranet
