How to configure mail properties per user?

Hi,
How to configure mail properties per user(not at portal level).
controlpanel->ServerAdministration->mail tab
this is portal level...but i want to configure mail properties per user basis.


Please help.

Those settings are for outgoing portal mail, i.e. password reset emails and the like. They are not for viewing individual user's email.

For that you can use the mail portlet, but it is not as robust as, say, using gmail or outlook's web client. The mail portlet can be configured for per-user email.
