can I change Documents and Media options??

Hi all,

I use liferay 6.1.2... "Documents and Media" application is included in one of my page. Can i change the initial options of the application?
For example, i want to remove the options, "Add Repository", "Add Shortcut" (from Folder Menu) and "Save and Checkin", "Cancel Checkout" from documents' option, "edit".

Sure, but you may want to check out the D&M display portlet. It doesn't have these options.

I had checked out D&M display portlet, but it has the following options, "Add Repository" and "Add Shortcut" if I activate "Show folder menu" and button "Actions" from configuration.

For example i want to display the "Show Folder Menu" from D&M Display portlet, but without specific options like "Add Repository" and "Add Shortcut". Is there a way to solve that?

D&M is used in the control panel though. If you're going to hook, I suggest hooking D&M display as that can be dropped on a page. Changing D&M via hook will affect your control panel access to D&M.
