Deltacom used Liferay Portal to build a customer portal for customers to perform functions such as: paying their bill, changing their calling plan, changing the routing of their tollfree numbers, viewing their mobile usage, ordering new services, viewing their bandwidth usage, etc. Its mission was not only to match the functionality and quality of competitor customer portals, but to leapfrog them and create the world's premier telecom customer portal.
