What is the Simplest Liferay Install on Ubuntu Linux?

Hi,

I am brand new with Liferay, and have no experience. Does anyone have links to the following:

• installation instructions for Liferay on Ubuntu Linux
• download of Liferay for Ubuntu Linux

I have noticed that there a number types of Liferay installations to download. I am looking for the simplest so that I can try it out.
