I'm using Liferay Portal since V.3.6 and I submitted various threads here and bugs in the support system.
Maibe you can remember my tests about WebDav interface.

So I'll offer you my work to manage an Italian channel on the Message Boards.
My personal experience is about deployment and administration of Liferay Portal and I know where I have to address threads about Portlet's development.

Galacticomm, Inc. (based on Fort Lauderdale (FL)) was the world leader of professional multilines Bulletin Boards market. Worldgroup (former The Major Bbs) was the principal product I translated and sold in Italy to many Italian mid- and medium-sized companies.
Wordlgroup was able to provide communication services (services very similar to those provided from Liferay Portal) from 2 to 256 concurrent users via analog modems, Isdn lines, X.25 networks, Tcp/Ip (Internet and intranet) using only the MS DOS as O.S.
