I want to add leave management system in my portal , is their any ready-made tool available in liferay which we can directly use and if not does anyone know who add this feature in portal

Hi Ahwin,

As of now there is not any OOB(Out of the box) portlet available in liferay svn.
But you can design your requirement and easily can go ahead with new portlet development.
Post your requirement here so that you can get more and diff idea from the community.

Hi,


Leave status management tool which i am looking forward has following requirement.

1.It should reflect each user his/her total earned leave on his private page and to administrator it should reflect total earned leave of all the user.
2.Administrator can make changes in leave status of any user .
3.User should immediately received his status update .
4.Also user can apply or cancel his leave.
5.Administrator can monitor every user and recieve user leave application and can either aacept or deny it. In each case status update should get reflected at both the end.
6.It should be robust and can add and remove any number of user easily without disturbing previous users.
7.Some additional features like adding comment and apply leave in format given without any need to attach any external file and should directly deliver to admin as well as on his email.
