How do i get a user's online status in Liferay 6.0.6 API?

There's the monitoring stuff that you can turn on. You can then refer to the source for the chat portlet for determining if someone is online or not.

I was looking for API in particular, for eg. userLocalServiceUtil.getUserStatus() or something like that emoticon
