server restart in eclipse.... object heap error

New Member Postagens: 23 Data de Entrada: 04/12/06 Postagens Recentes
Hello,

I'm using the IDE plugin for Eclipse with 6.1 and Tomcat 7.

I was able to start the server successfully from inside eclipse by duplicating the run configuration and saving a new max heap size (512m) under VM arguments, but... when I try to either stop or restart the server, it gives me the object heap error. I'm not exactly sure where to change this for stopping the server.

What ends up happening is the server is stuck in "Stopping" forever and I have to restart Eclipse, besides having to shutdown Tomcat from the command line.

I'm developing on Windows 7, btw, and the reason the shutdown is working from the command line is because I had installed Liferay apart from Eclipse and had already modified the setenv.bat.

Thanks for any help,

Scotty
