Account creation using create account link..

Hi all,

The user created using create account link is not displaying in the MEMBER Portlet, and also i am not able to put the member portlet in user page, please give the solutions.

The admin.default.group.names property defines which groups a newly created user becomes a member of when he or she is created.

You can also set this in the control panel via Portal Settings > Users > Default User Associations > Communities

My quetion is, the user account is created using create link of sign in portlet, that user is not showing in built in Member portlet of social category of liferay....

Hi,

Members portlet can only be placed on Community(Site) or Organization pages. Members portlet is supposed to show the members of organization or community. When an account is created, the account is not associated with any site or organization hence its not shown.

Members portlet cannot be placed on User Pages as it doesnt make sense.
