Where is the Knowledge Base portlet(s)?

I've seen the Knowledge Base application portlets mentioned in the user's guide and wiki, but cannot seem to find them in my installation of LIferay (v6.1). It was my understanding that it was included in the default installation. Can anyone point me to where they're located or a download location for their WAR file? Thanks!

If you are using Liferay 6.1, then it should be there in the "More" portlet section. Do not need to deploy war file for that.

which version of liferay you are using
Before 6 it need to be download In liferay 6.x bundle you can get knowledge-base without installation
Knowledge Base portlet is available as an app from Liferay Marketplace

I'm using Liferay 6.1. I don't seem to have the marketplace tab in my control panel, nor do I see any of the content shown in the "Marketplace Tutorial" when I go to http://liferay.com/marketplace

Hi Seamus,

I also don't have KnowledgeBase portlet. I am using Liferay 6.1 EE. But when I've verified in Liferay 6.1 GA relase, It there. So Its not included in 6.1 EE.
If you are using 6.1 EE, you will not get that OOTB, and for that you'll have to download its war from Customer Portal.

And regarding Marketplace, I'ts not released yet so you wont get it in your control panel. Hoping to release it soon.

We're using the Community Edition, and it doesn't seem to have the Knowledge Base either. I'm assuming the "Customer Portal" is an EE only area. How else can I obtain the Knowledge Base WAR file?

If you are using community edition, and portlets are not there, then you can download knowledge base portlet war file from below mentioned url.
