RSS Portlet cant display global feed

Hi all,

I have tried to get the Global link into my RSS portlet but still did not get chances to display. it always say

http://rss.news.yahoo.com/rss/tech cannot be found

Error. Even I include the PROXY in my server (portal-ext and catalina) properties

http.proxyHost=myproxy.com
http.proxyPort=11008
http.proxyUser=
http.proxyPassword=

It can only display the local RSS links. I create my own blogs,wiki on my liferay and I get rss from there and put into rss portlet.
when i try to like http://rss.news.yahoo.com/rss/tech , it throw errors.

P.S my server does not have access to internet ,it's only for intranet purpose.

any idea to solve this ?

If your server doesn't have internet access, it won't be able to read http://rss.news.yahoo.com/rss/tech. You'll need to let your server access the internet if you want it to work.

really?? what should i do??,,,,
server in my organization can not access to the internet.but can access only intranet.
Do you know anyway how to do rss by intranet???

If your browser can go through the Internet then you try below link . it is google rss and try it in your web content.
