Marketplace doesn't appears in Jelastic

I installed a "Liferay Portal Community Edition 6.1.1 CE GA2 (Paton / Build 6101 / July 31, 2012)" in jelastic,

in two ways 1) http://jelastic.com/docs/jelastic-liferay-deploy (but using tomcat 7)

and http://jelastic.com/partners/isv choosing liferay , in this is using tomcat 6

But the problem is that Marketplace doesn't apears in control panel, then I can not add apps from my account

Why marketplace doesn't appears in control panel?
How can I add marketplace apps to the Liferay Portal installed in Jekastic?

Only the pre-packaged bundles include the Marketplace portlet (which causes Marketplace to appear in the Control Panel).

If you installed Liferay from any other place, then you won't get the Marketplace portlet, and will need to manually compile and deploy it from the GA2 source code.

Thanks for the quick answer, but:

how do you do that in a Jelastic environment?
If enough to upload and deploy a war file, with Marketplace portlet ?
Were can I get the war of the Marketplace portlet?

Yes you will need to upload and deploy a WAR file (the Marketplace plugin) that will give you the Marketplace functionality.

Unfortunately, we do not have a pre-compiled version of the Marketplace plugin anywhere (I think we should, to avoid this "chicken-and-egg" problem).

So you'll have to download the source code to the Marketplace plugin and compile it yourself. In another thread, I explain how to do this from the command line, it's quick and dirty but should work!

Hi

I have installed Liferay (Portal Community Edition 6.2 CE GA4) on Jelastic . I deployed the Market Place war file. Everything in the logfile looks good but Market Place is not appearing in the Apps area of Lliferay. Is there anything else that I should do?
