How to upload the .zip plugin in liferay 6.0.6

Hi All,

I want to use slider portlet plugin into liferay 6.0.6 environment.So I downloaded .zip file ,but when i am trying to use this one using
control panel-> plugin installation ->upload the file.It is only taking the file with .war extension.

So how can i upload this file as new plugin into liferay 6.

Where did you get your zip plugin file from? zip file isn't a plugin. Try extracting the files to see if there is a war file.
