Liferay Search Portlet

I have been working with the Liferay Search portlet and have some questions.

That portlet doesn't really seem ready for prime time. I'm looking at the liferay-portal-src-5.1.2.zip and comparing it to the latest versions on SVN and seeing no changes. Nor do i see any comments in the forum or JIRA about the completeness and testing done on the Search Portlet. There are a few places where it seems to be missing things.

• Links to the Image Gallery are wrong.
• Links to the Directory portlet are wrong.

Is this a lost project? Who is managing this piece?

I'm moving this thread to "Using Liferay" since it's a more appropriate category for this question.

Regarding your question, are your referring to the OpenSearch portlet? If so, it should work. If you find any bug please report it in http://issues.liferay.com with detailed steps to reproduce them. Patches with the fixes are also very welcome
