LR ide / Eclipse + Mysql

hi Community,

I ve got a qest plz, I did install LR 6.1 ga2 (add SDK) and successfully configure it to use mysql, also I installed Eclipse Helios+LR ide 1.6 to develop apps for the portal.
now my LR ga2 and my LR ide are supposed to be connected to mysql, am I supposed to make some connection between eclipse and my sql to access my DB or not?

Should have just used Liferay IDE. Anyways, you don't need to setup connection between Eclipse and MySQL unless you're going to maintain MySQL from Eclipse.
Liferay will just use portal-ext.properties database setting to access MySQL.
