Using Social Office at Liferay.com site?

I was just wondering about benefits of using Social Office at Liferay.com site.

This came to me from James' comment about sending private message in the following thread. I think he meant sending email here but I just thought it would be beneficial to be able to do it online.

Yeah, that would be cool - right now there's really no way to get in contact with anyone directly on liferay.com. I am hoping that the pending website redesign work will include some or all of the Social Office functionality on liferay.com, including private messaging.
