Administration of pages in personal communities

This being the "suggestions and feature requests" board, I'd like to draw your attention to this thread, discussing the administration of pages in user's personal communities. Starting as a "How can I do" thread it now evolves into a "What would make sense to have in Liferay" thread.

Perhaps people here have some thoughts about the problems around administering personal pages. At least the thread is now properly cross-referenced...

I'd like to add that this should be configurable from INSIDE the Liferay UI in a simple and intuitive manner. There should be a "dummy" user that the admin can drag and drop portlets on to that will set them up for all the users instead of having to hand hack a text file.

There should be an equally simple means of arranging pages for users who are part of more than one community. The whole "My Places" thing is really confusing especially when I see my blog appearing in multiple places.
