On the new Liferay 6.2.0 CE GA 1 with the new Social Office
Why does the App Manager Store not work through control panel?
I tried to utilize the App Manager Store through control panel and keep getting an error "Could not connect to the Liferay Marketplace.".

Mine works (the same version without Social Office but this should not be the case). Maybe you got some temporary network issues?

Krzysztof Gołębiowski,
I'm the I.T. Supervisor for our Company. Our networking is working fine.
I'm hoping for a suggested fix, or solution to the issue.
Thank you,
Blake Jones

Hi Blake,
Can you give us more information or steps to reproduce your issue? I have 6.2.0 CE GA1 installed with SO 3.0.0 CE deployed, and when I go to Control Panel -> Apps -> Store, I logged in with my liferay.com credentials and was able to connect successfully with Marketplace.
Regards,
Mandy

Mandy Lee,
Thank you very much for responding to my question.
I also have Liferay 6.2.0 CE GA1 with Social Office 3.0 CE installed. (seemed to install fine without error)
I click "Control Panel"
Then I click "Apps"
Then I click "Store"
The progress spins for a while
and eventually I get an error message that says "Could not connect to the Liferay Marketplace"
I have attached images below.
Any help or fixes on this would be awesome and greatly appreciated.
Also catalina.out is not giving any warnings, information, or errors about this
I'm also verbosely following the catalina log with the following command
tail -f /var/www/liferay-portal-6.2.0-ce-ga1/tomcat-7.0.42/logs/catalina.out[/font]

Hi Blake,
I believe that the issue you are experiencing might be a connectivity issue with Marketplace, rather than a problem with Social Office. I went ahead and created a new thread in the Marketplace category for you so that others who might have better knowledge of Marketplace can hopefully chime in. Please follow it here.
