Yammer like microblog groups

Dear All,

in a default settings there is a global microblog only regardless the number of sites created. Is there any possibility to write small posts or suggestions targeting just the specific site, e.g. Marketing? They would end in this group when they would be written in this group.
Besides site-based groups there could be also arbitrary created groups for specific purposes, e.g. Ideation, Jokes etc.

I have no idea if this is possible in the current version.
