Issue publishing portlets to remote server on 6.2 CE

HI all,
Not sure if this was already pointed out but using 20140319 version (the GA2 release) of plugins SDK for use with the remote server will not publish portlets. But when I switched plugins from the 20140319 version to 20131017 version (the RC5 release), then I was able to publish portlets to a remote liferay server in eclipse. The 20140329 plugins sdk is good enough for local deployment but not for deployment to remote server.

Maybe someone can look into this and update the latest GA2 release of the SDK so that it will work with deployment over remote server.

I am using
* Eclipse Kepler with the latest Liferay IDE (verison 2 I think)
* Liferay 6.2 CE GA2 Tomcat bundle (20140319)
* Liferay plugins SDK 6.2 CE RC5 (for remote server deployment. I was using the GA2 for local development and deployment)

Can you try the latest Liferay Plugins SDK 6.2.1 and then also the latest Liferay IDE?

Hi Gregory. According to the link below, it seems that the 20140319 drop of 6.2 CE is the latest 6.2.1.

Hey David,

We will be releasing Liferay IDE 2.1.1 in just a few days (next monday) so I'd like for you to download that release and update your Liferay IDE install to the latest and then try again. So watch for my blog post on Monday.
