Creating WAR file

Hello,
How to create a WAR file of my liferay 6.2 project???
or any idea of creating the lar file?

once you deploy portlet war ll be created in sdk/dist folder

where as war creation is
goto control panel
select web content from left panel
you ll find a gear icon on right top
select export/import
select required content and click export lar file ll be created


but what i explained is in liferay 6.1 am not sure the process is same in liferay 6.2

Hello,
I created the lar file but cant access the portlet in another machine.
where as war creation is
goto control panel
select site
you ll find a gear icon on right top
select export/import
select required content and click export lar file ll be created .

There is an error "This portlet has been undeployed. Please redeploy it or remove it from the page."

Custom portlet war file you have deploy separately. Only OTB portlet comes within lar file.

You have to copy custom portlet war file into deploy folder..You can find deploy in Liferay_Home Folder
