Does Liferay portal integrate with Tivoli access manager ?

Hi,

Our organization uses Tivoli access manager (TAM) as the centralized authentication and authorization engine. I would like to know if Liferay portal running on WebSphere application server can integrate with TAM.
An immediate reply would be highly appreciated.

Not that I've seen but you might be able to put CAS in and do it that way.

Thanks for the reply. So do you mean to say that it is possible to tie the Tivoli access manager authentication engine with that of Liferay by using the CAS protocol ?
Appreciate if you could provide more information on this.

I'm assuming that your Tivoli thing is something similar to an LDAP so you should just be able to use CAS, which does integrate with Liferay as a "shim" to your Tivoli

I'm in the process to integrate these. At first it seemed a hard job, but is quite easy actually.

Liferay has SiteMinder option, and that works fine with WebSEAL also. Just change the header name to "iv-user" and it just works.

I have an own database for user master data, and I provision that to Liferay with own code, and to TAMeb with Tivoli Directory Integrator.

Could you please provide me the basic inputs(related to form based authentication) to integrate the TAM and liferay portal integration using SiteMinderAutoLogin.

I want to authenticate my custom login form aganist TAM webseal (http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/pkmslogin.form) .

My development environment:
Liferay portal 6.1.2, Jboss EAP 6
