Is it possible to get the audit history of activities done in documents and Media portlet?

You can track download activities like who downloaded which document using Document Download Log Hook available on Liferay market place.

If you want to track more activities then you can write model listener for documents.

If you are using Liferay EE, then Audit trail portlet can be helpful.

Every thing is not getting tracked by audit plugin . Basically audit plugin covers following areas.

1) User activities (User creation , removal , profile changes and de activation)
2) Role (Changes in role)
3) Contact (Any contact information changes)
4) User Group Activities

Document media activities are not getting tracked by audit plugin.
