Liferay on Windows 2003

New Member Postagens: 12 Data de Entrada: 31/01/08 Postagens Recentes
Greetings,

I am a newbie so please excuse this basic question.

I have successfully installed Liferay (4.x +Tomcat 6.x) on a Windows 2003 server. Going to http://localhost:8080 brings up the portal and I can use it.

Now, I am trying to assign a domain to this portal. I have created an instance using the "Admin" portlet that points to the domain . When I use my browser to access this domain nothing comes up.

I have tried both http://www.MyDomain.com and http://www.MyDomain.com:8080 but neither works.

I have one IP address on the server but multiple domains point to it. The server is running IIS 6.0 and a .Net based Portal which serves these domains - any unassigned domain is picked up by this portal.

Please help me get Liferay running! Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Peter

Hi Peter,

Here is a wiki article that could be pretty helpful. Have you configured your host file? Take a look at it and let me know if it helps.

Hi all,

I would like to configure a liferay portal(tomcat)6.0.5 behind an IIS(7.5), using tomcat connector(isapi_redirector.dll).
I'm facing a display problem. the pages are loaded but not the CSS and images.

Is there any documentation, wiki or blog about how to do such configuration ?

Thanks in advance.
Any help would be appriciated.
