The major forum and bulletin board systems integrate polls in a way that they serve as a starting point for discussions. When creating a new thread, users may choose to do so as a poll.
On many online forums, such threads are the most active ones, since all users want to contribute their opinion not only in the poll, but also explain themselves in the forum thread afterwards.
However, on Liferay, polls are separated from forums.
Wouldn't it be just great to have the same functionality in Liferay, and to be able to start a new forum thread with an integrated poll, instead of having the polls in a separate widget apart from the discussions?
