Is there a way we can try mile stone releases for testing.

I want to test spring mvc which was fixed in 3.0 M1 as per below link

You can try maven build the source yourself. Git repository hosting it is:
https://github.com/liferay/liferay-ide


There are some pointers on how to do that; though some of wiki articles bit old:

Google "building liferay ide" too; there are more resources on the topic; I've not done it else I'd guide you some more.
