We are moving from Tomcat 5.5 to Tomcat 6 with a 64 bit JVM and OS... Anyone done something similar that you wouldn't mind giving me advice?

I am running 64bit tomcat and java w/liferay. It works the same as 32bit. I run on Slackware.

currently, I am running from ./startup.sh. But I am bringing up a virtualized server and will run it as a service.

How much throughput do you have? we are load testing and having issues where something (Liferay or Tomcat) is locking up the server under load...

What version are you running the locking performance tests on?

Unfortunately No... There isn't any obvious things... the weird thing is it never happens when we use our Load Runner tool but happens 95% of the time with Grinder... Would anyone that is using Liferay with 64 bit care to share their Memory and Garbage Collection options? And also their database connection info? I'm wondering if these are where the issue are...
