Look and feel Option not showing Portlet config menu

Hello Friends,

Lifeary bundled installed in my company dev server from begening its worked fine.. few days back i got some problem that is iam unable to see look and feel option in portlet configuration menu i can see only configuration and print. iam unable to get what is the problem. please any help??

Hi,
Have you checked the portlet.jsp file in tomcat-6.0.18/webapps/ROOT/html/common/themes....The portlet configuration menu options and the triggered events are present in portlet.jsp.
Hope it will help you to figure out the problem.

Is this for all the portlet or for just a particular portlet?

If it's for all the portlets, follow Rojalin's advice and check if there is no corrupt file.

Actually my liferay bundle worked fine i dont know some body did something.. i dont know that.. but iam unable to see that look and feel options in all communities and organizations of all portlets. Iam able to see only export and import and configuration thats it.

Did you check files Rojalin's mentioned in his replies? It may be some files may have become corrupt. If you haven't done any modification, you can try copying the original Liferay folders from the archive in ROOT\html over you current folder.

Before doing this, check if you have any errors in your console and in you logs - application server and server.

I was installed new bundle its working fine now.. thanks a lot.. guys..

Having "portlet.css.enabled=false" in portal-ext.properties disables the portlet Look&Feel menu item. May this have been the cause?
