Requesting that we add a "Lock Thread" feature where a moderator or user with the permissions can lock threads. There would be a "Lock Thread/Unlock Thread" button.

This will help with moderating the message boards. Old thread posts and answered thread posts could then be locked so there is not an issue with users replying to 3-4 year old threads.

You know, it would be really nice to be able to configure a time frame and have them auto-lock.

I did the implementation over the weekend. I just need a open and closed lock icon and it's good to be committed to trunk.

What happened to the thread locking feature?

I am running on 5.2.2 and don't find this functionality and my host, Omegabit, says it is not available.

Is it available on later versions? If so, is it possible to copy it to 5.2.2?

It would be very useful. I would love to avoid having to pay someone to write it for me.
