How to access Liferay attributes from inside Activiti's workflow process

Hi folks,

I have problems retrieving the attributes of some objects from within the workflow process.

To clarify, the scenario is the following:

I have a simple workflow process which is assigned to some entity in Liferay, for example to Message Boards Message. What I would like to do is to perform some check based on this entity's properties, like threadId (for example, using activiti:expression). I mean, when a new message boards message is submitted for approval, I want to check if it has a moderator assigned (and for this purpose I need to be able to access its threadId in the proccess). Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find how it is possible to access these values (or even if it is possible at all).

I would really appreciate any help in this subject.

even if it's a year already, have you find the solution for that need back then ?
I'm now facing the same thing.
