LIUG`s first meet was a huge success, participants enjoyed every moment of the meet, meeting`s venue was Fulcrum`s office at Pune.
Volunteer coordinator Himanshu Jain did a good job of coordinating with all the members attending the event. Around 10 Liferay enthusiasts from various companies like Infosys, L&T InfoTech, TCS , Fulcrum participated in the event.
We kicked off the event by having a presentation on Liferay India which was around the Company`s profile and its footprints in India and little brief on roadmap for Liferay portal, the meeting then went into an open forum / discussion mode . Members exchanged ideas and discussed on various topics like leveraging the strength of Liferay for creating custom solution, best practises to be followed. Members also shared the new integration they have done and some of the customization aspects. They also brought forward their ideas and suggestion for Liferay. Everyone was thrilled to know about the growth statistics of Liferay and its adoption by new organizations.
Members enjoyed the entire meeting, there was a lot of fun and laughter during the entire session. Some of the members also took the responsibility of coordinating the future LIUG events by joining the LIUG core group for Pune area.
