hi everyone,
i was assigned the task to migrate data (user, groups, ..., document, newsletters...) from an older intranet (implemented from scratch with JEE platforme) to LIferay 5.1.2 solution.
i think this issue is a reccurent one since, before Liferay, a lot of intranet site was designed with ofcourse a relying database for storing the data.
I begin ton investigate the structure of liferay database, with Toad tool i success to generate a schema with table and relationship.
the next step is to understand what's kind of data go into the tables.
i am wondering if someone has already done this task, and perhaps can help me to speed up my understanding.
