failed to create Liferay project

Then when I try to create the Liferay Portlet project I get following error:

Hello Lara,

It appears that the Ivy resolve process inside of the Liferay Plugins SDK is failing when it tries to create a new process. Go into your Liferay Plugins SDK folder and open the ivy-settings.xml file. Notice that it points to some online repositories. It seems that your system is having trouble connecting to those remote repositories. See the log messages about the failing certificates (when its trying to connect to the https:// server of jboss repository ).

Can you tell me if you have any special configuration required for connecting to those repositories? Proxy?

I hab the same issue. In my case it was due to the upgrade to "Maverick" on my Mac. You need to reinstall this java release:
http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1572
Which will add the missing cacerts in the Java security Folder.

try this on the cosole:

keytool -list -keystore /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/1.6.0_45-b06-451.jdk/Contents/Home/lib/security/cacerts -storepass changeit

it will print all the entries in the cacert file.

Sorry for "resseurect" this post but I solved this problem with an alternative solution.
I work at a big company with a lot of network directives, so, I set up liferay in my local machine and use my 4G connection to access the marketplace.
Trought the 4G i connect with success but in out local network it didn't.
I'll see what happened and then I'll post here.
