I think once the "pay for" marketplace is available you'll see portlets like this come out. It's hard to find time to carve out for things to give away (unless you're trying to market your consulting firm or your skills or something), but the possibility of creating something and collecting a little cash on, well there's probably a number of folks waiting for that to get kicked off...
