Just wanted to mention here in the forums that we released Liferay Faces 3.x / 2.x GA5.

Is there a planned release date for version 3.2.5-ga6?

We've seen that there will be an alloy:inputDate which we would like to use...

I know we could use the snapshot - but we will go into production in the near future and need a stable version then.

Hi Tobias,

Almost every feature found in our 4.2.0-ga1 (JSF 2.2) release will appear as a backport in the 3.2.5-ga6 (JSF 2.1) release. So that means alloy:inputDate will be available in the 3.2.5-ga6 release.

Our goal is to release 4.x GA1 and 3.x GA6 by the end of Q1 2015, but we don't have a solid date yet.

How soon is the "near future" for your production release?

We planned to start code freeze for end of February. So it would be to late for us to integrate the feature after that.

I will either use h:inputText instead and convince the customer to wait for the next release, I use the snapshot, or I extract just inputDate implementations (I haven't checked up to now, if there are any further dependencies).
