Overriding default language properties in ver 5.2

I have successfully been able to use the portal-ext.properties file to override several defaults without having to resort to using the extension environment. I haven't been to find any documentation on whether or not something similar can be used for overriding the language defaults. I tried a Language-ext.properties file but my changes were not recognized. Any one know if this is a supported 5.2 feature?

Hi Thomas,

just check ur ext-impl.jar(if u r using ext env) to see if ur chnages are getting copied there.

if u override any language message in language-ext.prop file it will override ,as i did that with " return to full page " to one of my costume message and it worked for me.

may be ur changes are not getting to the server, just check the server's ext-impl.jar file to see if ur changes are there and if not then check if ur file is there in the right place (i.e ext-impl\src\content).
