RE Alfresco Integeration

Guys

I have downloaded Alfresco from the site which is of 600Mb
I have instaled Alfresco into my local system
I tried to configure the Integeration of liferay with Alfresco by forum by there guidence

I have changed the portal-ext.property by adding following

session.store.password=true
company.security.auth.type=screenName

After I login with admin credential

control-panel-->media and Document portlet--->add repositary

have entred following details

Name: Alfresco Repository

Description: Alfresco Repository

Repository Type: CMIS Repository (AtomPub)

Repository URL: http://localhost:8080/alfresco/service/cmis

And Save it


I'm getting following error

Please verify your repository configuration parameters.


Guys plz inform if making any mistake wile integeration of liferay with alfersco
if any one integerated liferay with alfersco plz explain the configuration/steps


I have attached file plz find the solution for these error

Make sure you have identical users (and their passwords) for both Liferay and Alfresco. So you will need a user named 'joebloggs' and password 'test' on both Liferay and Alfresco (or another user if you have setup more users on Liferay and/or Alfresco).

but i'm not getting where i have to give user name and password for Alfresco...
while installing the Alfresco i have given password as ramyam

now i'm not getting what i have do now plz help me integerate the Alfresco with liferay 6.1

The default username for Alfresco is "admin" (and password "admin" but you said you'd changed it, so it's probably admin/ramyam).

You'll need to create a user in Liferay whose screenname is "admin" and password is "ramyam" - for testing, after creating that user, assign them the "Administrator" role so they have full privileges in Liferay. Then login as that user in Liferay and try to set up the Alfresco CMIS repository again.

In short, you need to know the username and password for both Liferay and Alfresco, and they must be identical.

In an enterprise environment, this is usually accomplished by configuring both Liferay and Alfresco to use the same user directory (e.g. LDAP).

According to u r guidence

I have reinstalled the Alfresco with following credential

username: Admin
password: admin

Alfreso sucessfully installed

Then I have created an new user with name and password r as bellow
Screen name admin
password admin

changed role to Administrator.

After i login with admin user and password and I tried to add Repository with following details

Repository name Alfreso
Description Alfreso
Repositary type CMIS Repositary
AtomPub url http://localhost:8080/alfresco/service/cmis

but ones again I'm getting same error.

plz help me to solve these integeration problem

Do you see any errors in the Liferay log file (e.g. in tomcat-xx.xx.xx/logs/catalina.out) ?

Also, did you mean to type "Admin" (instead of "admin") for the Alfresco user?

Finally, which version of Liferay are you using? And which version of Alfresco? I can try to recreate the issue.

There is no error in liferay log file.

While installing the Alferso it s not asked username onl it s asking like below
(please give password to use for Alfresco Administrator passwod)


Admin password admin
repear password admin

I'm using liferay 6.1CE
Alfresco version is Alfresco community 5.0


i have created the user with same credential in liferay and i have given administrator permision. below i have mensioned

Screen name admin
password admin


If i login to Alfreso community

It s always taking Admin as userName not admin( if i enter admin as user name it s showing athentification error)

but if i create the screen name as Admin but it alwaya takin admin(If i make 'a' as Capital but it will take small)


any other way to solve these issue
plz guide me to solve these issue
