Remove default guest view permissions from Message Board messages

Dear All,

when a new message in MB is created, it has automatically 'View' permissions for anyone (Guest role). Is there any possibility to change this behaviour and prefer 'Power User' (logged user) instead?

When you look at the MessageBoards portlet (as an Administrator), it has a "Permissions" Button. Also, every subcategory has a "Permissions" Button as well. Click it, choose the appropriate permissions that you'd like to have and you're set.

Edit: Whoops - this thread looks like it's resurrected from the dead. When I answered, there was yet another new answer (bringing it back to "Recent Changes"). Now I see that the original post is 1y old and it looks like I resurrected it. Stay calm - I hope it doesn't upset anyone and still helps.
