Purpose for the Processing: Liferay will process your data for the following purposes: (1) to guarantee that you are allowed to participate in the event (such as a webinar, roadshow) and receive all logistical information around the event or access collaterals (such as whitepaper, presentation, report, etc.) you have requested, as applicable. This will include the sending of emails with information about how to access the event and/or collateral, and follow-up emails with the event slides and recording, and with answers to any questions that you may rise during the event); and, (2) to get your feedback on the event contents or collaterals via phone or e-mail.
Legal Basis for the Processing: For purpose (1), as described above, Liferay will process your data further to section 6.1.b) of the GDPR, whereas for purpose (2) Liferay will process your data further to section 6.1.f) of the GDPR.
Recipients: Liferay may share your data with its processors, including Marketo, for purposes of our webinars LogMeIn, and with Liferay affiliates (as identified at https://www.liferay.com/locations), which might be located world-wide. You may inquire about the basis for the international transfers, or the adequate safeguards that apply to those transfers (and obtain a copy of them where applicable) by sending an email to our Data Protection Officer. To the extent a webinar/event and/or collateral is being provided in cooperation with a third party provider (e. g. a sponsor, partner, etc.), delivering the content, Liferay will share your data with the respective provider specified in the registration form.
Period: Liferay will delete your data within a reasonable time from the completion of the event for which you signed up and/or delivering the collateral, unless there is a legal basis for continuing processing your data, e.g. based on further interactions between Liferay and you.
Your Rights: You can at any time and at no charge request access to, erasure or rectification or restriction of processing of your personal data by Liferay at any time. That includes your right to object to further use of your data at no charge. In particular, please note that you can object to receiving follow-up emails asking for your feedback on the webinar contents. For all these purposes, please contact us at: [email protected]. The aforesaid shall not limit your right to file a complaint with the responsible data protection authorities.
