Plug-Ins Not Installing through any method Liefray 5.2.3

Hi,
I cant seem to use any plug-in portlets outside of the Core Plugins that came with liferay.

These Include
WOL
WebForm
IPGeocoder
Other third part portlets.

Ive tried the installer via control panel

• It says the installation failed
• It says Installation was successful-but the portlet is not available or referenced in the installed list

Ive tried to Manually deploy through my deploy folder

• Deployment executed but the applications are never loaded

Ive searched through the log files at catalina.out but there doesnt seem to be any answer.

Here's the twist... 2 Plug-ins did install correct;y and work with not problem.

• Flash Plugin
• Mail Plugin

Is there something im doing wrong somewhere? Or are these plug-ins not working properly?

Which bundle are you using? tomcat? Also what's your OS?

There should be something in the log files that say something about deployment or registering the portlets. Try deploying the WAR through the deploy folder and something in the logs should show up.

Yeah I actually got it to work. I had one miss typed character in my auto deploy destination directory. Ive since corrected it, but now im having issues deploying liferay for production. LOL
