We're currently writing a technical concept for a multinational intranet.
One key feature/requirement for the homepage is that apart from global news every user is provided with national and regional news depending on the location of his branch office.
We thought this might be something that could be handled with Liferay Audience Targeting.
So to test this we defined multiple User segments like "Germany", "France" and also like "Berlin", "Paris".
Putting a User Segment Content List on the homepage revealed a flaw: There is no way to further filter the content that is diplayed, apart from the Asset type which must be "Web Content Article" in our case. So an user belonging to both segements "France" and "Paris" is shown mixed content from both those segements.
Unlike with a Asset Publisher one cannot specify additional criteria like tags or categories:

We are thinking about extending the configuration display and the underlying code in that regard.
Anyone tried that already and feels like sharing?
