Liferay Sync and Metadata

A really nice feature of Liferay Sync is that if you assign metadata to an uploaded file (e.g., Tags, Categories, Description, etc.), and then you move the file around in Windows Explorer, the metadata still sticks! With that said, there are two potential issues that I noticed:

1) If I update the file in Windows Explorer, it uploads it correctly to Liferay Portal; however, the meta data gets removed
2) Every time the meta data is changed online, Liferay Sync re-downloads the file even though the file itself hasn't changed
