Can Multiple Liferay Portals use Single Liferay CMS Repository

Hi I am working on Liferay 6.2 CMS.

I am having different type of contents for my first portal application like Customer Service Data.
Now I have second Liferay Portal application. Can this second portal applicatiion access/use the content from first Liferay CMS??

I mean Can two different Portal applications use the Same Liferay CMS repository.

Hi Akash,

Liferay Sync 1.x cannot connect to multiple portals. However, we are working on Liferay Sync 2 which can connect to multiple portals. We are planning to release a beta early next year.

I have the same issues. We have a live environment whith multiple Liferay installations. Are there any new information for that issue? Is it possible to share the contents in Liferay's content management between multiple Liferay 6.2.3 instances?

If they are separated physical/virtual machines, server processes or actual instances on the same server: No. Liferay is designed to completely separate them. If you want to exchange content between different sites (that are running on the same Liferay instance) that's not a problem at all. And you can run each site on a different domain name as well.

Alternatively you can export/import your content from one editorial system to as many live systems as you wish
