ldap integration from backend

i want liferay to authenticate through ldap server. and i dont want to do from the frontend console. i want to implement it from the backend.

In which file can we define ldap settings. and how can we implement multiple ldap servers authentication with liferay.

You can configure the settings in the portal-ext.properties file.
