Liferay default instance deleted

I ran into a situation where the default liferay instance found to be deleted. Liferay Installation was done almost a year ago and not sure how it is deleted. But when i checked in the database i see all other virtualhosts other than liferay default.

Is there a way to restore back the liferay default instance.

As a professional you have regular database and document library backups. Restore from your backup.

If you do not have backups, well that's a reflection on you then isn't it?

May be useful to others. Just enabling the below parameters and recycling has brought the deleted instance back

setup.wizard.enabled=true

this will configure back the liferay instance back.

Hope this helps any one who faced the same issue
