Liferay 6.1.0 beta 4: strange redirects on searchportlet

Hi,

we have been testing the beta for some weeks, however the search portlet is redirect to what appears to be "random" pages. to illustrate the problem here is a brief summary of our site layout
Organization : Public site

• Home
• page 2
• page 3
• page 4
• search

The homepage has 1 asset publisher and 2 web content elements. The search page has only the search-portlet in place. if you search for a certain item. the user gets redirected to the home page showing the document or web-content in full. Other times (when the user is authenticated) he or she gets redirected to a random private page. Any idea's on why this is happening?

While I haven't run into this issue, have you tried our recently available 6.1 RC?
It should be more stable than the Beta 4 version.

After upgrading from the beta to the RC we still running into the following behavior.
-- Place a search on a page
-- Search for a document
-- Click on the result link
-- Users gets redirected to a page where an asset publisher is standing (at random)

Thanks for the steps to reproduce.

If you could put a little more detailed steps, like, what exact web contents are you adding?
Do you have multiple asset publishers?
What are these "random" pages you get redirected to?

I've setup 6.1 RC using the same setup you described in your first comment, but I always get redirected to the home page.
