Rating content/pages as a guest.

Hello,

Is it possible to change te page rating portlet so the guest role can give ratings? Currently only known logged in user can rate.

Further more is it posible to add a rating meganism to the webcontent?

This would be a very big improvement in the UI regarding Social Design.

I can see a use case for this, but it OUGHT to be configurable. We don't want "Guest" rating stuff but I can see where it would be useful for some communities.

Absolute should it be configurable. What is the big danger of giving a guest the ability to vote? Not all websites are closed portals. By allowing this feature the social element of liferay will be greatly improved.

I would suggest that storing an ip adres or setting a cookie value could do the trick of disallowing multiple votes from one user/system.

I will check if I can create a solution for this and then submit it to Liferay.
