Default Landing page

Can any one pls let me know where the value of the "Dafault Landing page" will be saved

It gets stored in database table : portalpreferences .

Check for row with ownerType field as 1 and ownerId as companyId value, that row will have "default.landing.page.path" saved.

My Default landing page is

/web/employee/employee-handbook

but in database i cant see it

I too unable to see default landing page in the above mentioned table.
I am not sure either that will this particular entry is get stored in DB or not. anyways I found a way by following this link, which explains to get order of pages in the Site, may be this can help.
